Since 1997

The Bhatti family has been farming since 1997. Opinder’s reason for farming is simple, “he just likes it.” Our grower is always striving to improve the quality of their corn, by trying new varieties – sweeter, more tender or ready to harvest earlier in the season.

About Opinder Bhatti

Opinder Bhatti had always been passionate about farming and since 1997 he has worked hard to grow vegetables produce in more than 400 acres of Fraser Valley land. Presently 100 acres of broccoli; 25 acres of cauliflower; 45 acres of brussel sprouts; 275 acres of sweet corn; 25 acres of peas; and 25 acres of beans is being managed and grown. Opinder, often recognized as one of the biggest sweet corn suppliers of BC, is a member of the Vegetable Production Insurance Advisory committee and serving as a president of the Fraser Valley Cole Crop Growers Association, as well as being part of the FCC vision group and the FCC focus group.
